John is Business Growth Director for Sci-Tech Daresbury. He worked for Unilever, ICI and Ineos over a period of 15 years before moving to Sci-Tech Daresbury in 2006 to lead the establishment of the national science and innovation campus. The campus is home to a community of over 150 science and technology companies from start-ups to international corporates like IBM, Hitachi, Croda and Lubrizol. John recently stepped down as Chair of the UK Science Park Association (UKSPA), having carried out this role for nearly 3 years and been a Board member for 6 years in total. John also sits on the Liverpool City Region Investment Board and has in the past been a member of the Liverpool City Region Digital and Creative Sector Board and Cheshire and Warrington Innovation Board.
