Simon Mellin is the founder and CEO of Modern Milkman, a tech-enabled sustainable food delivery service revolutionizing the traditional milk round across the UK and US. Simon grew up on a farm and spent his teenage years working in his family’s butcher shop. Witnessing how big supermarkets squeezed small producers and seeing the inefficiencies and waste in the food supply chain sparked a lifelong curiosity. Simon launched Modern Milkman in 2018 armed with a little black book of 100 customers, and a bold belief- outdated food systems could be reimagined to work better for people, producers and the planet. Six years on, Modern Milkman is driven by a mission to provide communities with the platform to create lasting impact.
