Sophie has been in the world of tech startups since 2013 when she joined as the founding finance person at Lovecrafts. At Lovecrafts she led the finance function for 6 years as the business expanded to £20m in annual revenue and secured Series A,B and a $33m Series C round. She has since worked with a number of tech startups working directly with Founders. She is passionate about making finance accessible to non-finance people and spends time partnering with VCs and accelerators to run Finance for Founders workshops alongside her part-time in-house roles. She currently spends half her week working with the Exec team at CharlieHR supporting revenue and EBITDA growth and developing internal processes and reporting.
